Steamboats still ply the waters of the muddy Mississippi today.
there was a time that steamboats of every description filled the ports with
colorful characters, rogues and hard working rivermen. I have made many paintings
of those boats and the characters who sought pleasure, wealth, transport and a job
abord their wooden deck boards.
